This Privacy Policy describes how kbcode handles information when you use our website, services, and terminal application.
1. Information We Collect
When you request access or sign in, we collect:
- Account Information: Your Google account email address and basic profile info (provided via Google Sign-In).
- API Keys: Provider API keys you enter (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI) are stored locally on your machine in Fernet-encrypted format. They are never sent to kbcode servers.
- Code & Prompts: Your source code, conversations, and prompts stay local or go directly to your chosen AI provider. We do not store or inspect your code.
2. How We Use Information
- To verify your invite-only access allowance.
- To send essential updates or access notifications.
- We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
3. Third-Party Services
When you use kbcode, requests are routed directly to your configured AI provider (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) using your own API keys, subject to those providers' respective privacy policies.
